Incorrect Function Visibility

State-changing functions are often guarded by outer functions that may only be accessed by authorized users or by first passing a sequence of access control conditions.

However, such state-changing functions may be inadvertently marked as public. Octane will flag such functions that may be improperly left unprotected.
